The Planning Committee
Although Hazlemere Parish Council is not a planning
authority, it is one of the statutory consultees for all planning applications
submitted to Wycombe District Council.
The planning committee consists of a Chairman and 8
other councillors. This committee meets every two weeks, in order to consider planning applications
received in that period.
The plans are judged on strict criteria laid down by
WDC and the committee's decision is uploaded onto the district council's
planning portal
http://publicaccess.wycombe.gov.uk/idoxpa-web/
This page will eventually provide details of planning
applications received by Hazlemere Parish Council and the appropriate links
to view the applications and the council's comments on the WDC Planning
Portal.
The district council has also recently launched a new
web portal which contains all the tools and information relating to planning
issues that their planning department have available to them (see below).
Records are in electronic form from 1998, but you can see records for a
particular property kept on cards going back to 1947.
